A note about early dismissal:

There is no early dismissal for students between 2:30-3:15; parents must arrive either before 2:30 or after 3:15 to pick up their child.

The school day is from 8:40 am - 3:15 pm.

School hours:

  • Students can arrive starting at 8:10 am for breakfast.

  • PK & Kindergarten students begin the day with breakfast in their classrooms.

  • 1st - 5th grade students are dropped off in the cafeteria. Staff move students from the cafeteria to their classrooms at about 8:35 am.

  • Students have recess every day; the length and time of day depends on the grade level and schedule for the year. There is a large (newly renovated) playground for K-5th graders, with a separate smaller playground for PK students.

  • Regular dismissal time is 3:15-3:30 pm. After-school program dismissal time is 5:45-6:00 pm.

Typical daily schedule:

  • 1st-5th graders rotate out of their classrooms and have different teachers for English-Language Arts (ELA), Math, and specials such as Library, Art, Music, P.E., and Spanish.

  • PK & Kindergarten students stay in their classrooms for specials. The teacher comes into the classroom to provide instruction and learning.
